LIKE A PERSELMOUTH

Japanese letters have three kinds characters called "hiragana", "katakana" and "kanji." "hiragana" is to "katakana" what "small letter" is to "capital." They are parts of words. Individually they have no sense. They indicate only a sound each. "kanji" has a sense. And "kanji" can be rewritten in to "hiragana" and "katakana."

So we can translate English "white" to Japanese white(translated sounds into katakana.), shiro(translated a sense into kanji.), shiro(rewrote kanji into hiragana.), shiro(rewrote kanji into katakana.) These four versions are all correct and popular. But you need not to be amazed. Also you use "lll" "3" "three" "THREE", don't you?

Then, which this page shows you is the version of official Harry Potter book in Japanese.
